Dan Priddy is not only an accomplished producer and songwriter; he brings virtuoso musicianship to every session he works. Starting off on drums, he can also play keys, guitar and bass to a high level as well as write top line and sing vocals.
In 2014 he founded Best Laid Plans Records with Mark Crew and Dan Smith, and together they developed Rag’n’Bone Man, co-writing and co-producing the Wolves and Disfigured EPs. ‘Human’, the UK #1 platinum selling album from Rag’n’Bone Man, features ten of Dan and Mark’s productions (including Bitter End and Grace), and eight of their songs.
Subsequently, Mark and Dan have worked together as a partnership, and have produced tracks on Bastille’s album Doom Days (‘Another Place’, ‘Doom Days’); Louis Tomlinson (the single ‘Two Of Us’); various tracks with James Arthur (including the single ‘Empty Space’), Freya Ridings (the single ‘Castles’ and ‘Love Is Fire), James Blunt (the singles ‘Unstoppable’ and ‘Champion’), and MIKA’s album ‘My Name Is Michael Holbrook’.
More recently he co-wrote and produced ‘Summer Is Over’ for KSI, ‘I’ll Break My Heart Again’ for Mimi Webb, various titles for Bastille including ‘survivin’, ‘Deal With It’ for Ashnikko, co-wrote Rag’n’Bone Man’s ‘Anywhere Away From Here’, and co-wrote and co-produced ‘Run Into Trouble’ by Alok x Bastille.
